Principal’s Message

It is with great honor and joy that I serve you as principal of Reidenbaugh Elementary School – home of the Grasshoppers!  Reidenbaugh is a school family where everyone is respected, hard work is valued and high expectations are realized and celebrated. During the year, you will see and hear many things happening in our school. First and foremost, you will see and hear students learning many new things through instruction planned by our dedicated teachers. If you visit our classrooms you will see students learning in many different ways as our teachers use the following to help all students reach their maximum potential:

differentiated instruction                                 flexible grouping

hands-on activities                                             guided reading

technology integrated into lessons                 acceleration through previewing

multiple intelligences                                        essential questions

At Reidenbaugh, our students work hard at living the Reidenbaugh Pledge.  As our daily emphasis focuses on providing the students with experiences to make academic gains and be successful, we also recognize the importance of providing opportunities to help develop and to foster the growth of our children as a whole.  This would include those areas socially, emotionally, physically, creatively, and aesthetically.  Knowing this, we embrace the support and the participation of our Reidenbaugh parents and the Manheim Township community as a whole as we work together to build a solid foundation for the future success of our students.

I am looking forward to working with you during the school year!
